We have received the confirmation of progression into round 2 of the Indy Autonomous Challenge. Even though the scoring of the White Papers is binary, the level of the reviewers’ feedback is Exceptional. Thank you, everyone, for your contributions.
IAC Team Leaders:
Your receipt of this email confirms that you have completed and fulfilled the requirements of the Indy Autonomous Challenge (IAC) Round 1 – namely, the submission of your White Paper – with a score of:
Exceptional
Please note that while the scoring of the White Papers is binary – i.e. either you submitted it and it met the requirements as prescribed in the Rules, or you didn’t – we thought that you would be interested in receiving this basic level of feedback (i.e. Exceptional, Satisfactory, and Marginal) based on the reviewers’ impressions. Scores were formed based how well White Papers covered the criteria listed on pages 6-7 of the Rules. While all Teams’ White Papers will be posted to the IAC website shortly, these scores will not be disclosed to other Teams or those not affiliated with the IAC.
With your successful completion of Round 1 requirements, we’re also pleased to confirm your progression and acceptance into Round 2. Congratulations!
As an aside, more information will be sent within the next week about our May 2020 Hackathon and Indy 500 weekend. Please keep your eyes open for this email.
Thank you
The Indy Autonomous Challenge Team
