Round #2 deliverable timeline and criteria have been changed due to the restrictions from the COVID-19.
The details are as follows.
The due date for the Round 2 video submission will now be February 26, 2021 – the day before the Simulation Race.
Additionally, those Teams unable to submit their videos on or before November 25th 2020 will also have to submit a 2-4 page Round 2 update summary that describes: Their planned video’s base (unmodified) vehicle, the automated hardware architecture, the software architecture, and either the current development status (if it’s a new build) or an overview of the vehicle’s operational history (if it’s a preexisting vehicle). Please do not include confidential or proprietary information in these update summaries. Those IAC Teams that are able to submit videos in advance of the updated deadline do not have to provide such a summary.
